Dr. Peters
Dr. Peters grew up in Pasadena, TX and graduated from South Houston High School in 1992. Afterwards, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 1996. She then decided to pursue dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. In 2000, Dr. Peters earned her DDS degree as Magna Cum Laude with Honors in Research.
Dr. Peters has spent the last 12 years of her career in the Houston area. She owned a private practice in the Atascocita area and after selling due to the desire to spend more time with her young family, she taught at the University of Texas School of Dentistry. At the dental school, she enjoyed teaching senior dental students and contributing to her profession. She also spent time volunteering with groups of students at a faith based non-profit dental clinic, Hope Clinic, in Alvin, TX.
Dr. Peters and her husband, Richard, have been married since 1996 and are the proud parents of two boys, Preston and Nolan. Dr. Peters enjoys spending time with her family, reading, camping, and learning to crochet. They are currently in the process of moving to the Whitehouse area. They are delighted to have this opportunity and are thankful to Dr. Parsons, Dr. Hamons and their families for extending the invitation to be a part of this community and practice. Having visited for the last 12 years, The Peters feel blessed to be moving to the area.
Dr. Peters is excited to join Whitehouse Family Dentistry as an associate. She knows she is stepping into a wonderful practice and is dedicated to providing quality cosmetic and restorative dentistry to her patients in a kind and gentle way. She is dedicated to continuing education and seeks to grow in her profession for the benefit of her patients.
